The holiday season is the perfect time for a campaign with 7UP and Canada Dry. Everyone is ready to celebrate, and parties and events are in full swing for all of the holidays. For this campaign, IZEA creators were tasked with creating an original beverage with 7UP and Canada Dry as the stars of the show! After they bought all the supplies they needed at Safeway, our bloggers took to their kitchens, or in some cases their bars, and created tasty drinks with beautiful photos showcasing the ingredients.
Andi of The Weary Chef whipped up a perfect holiday cocktail – a Spiked Cherry 7UP! She used 7UP and mixed it with bourbon, cinnamon schnapps and cherry juice for a festive drink that is a bit lighter than your average holiday eggnog or hot cocoa! She was even able to find picture perfect glass bottles of 7UP at her local Safeway, which makes the perfect individual serving.
Over at Mod Podge Rocks, IZEA creator Amy used Canada Dry to create a Skinny Apple Ginger Cocktail. This drink is great for those of us trying to watch our waist lines a bit over the holiday season. Amy used Diet Canada Dry Ginger Ale (which she also picked up at her local Safeway), sparkling apple cider and vodka to make a tasty and refreshing holiday cocktail. She also noted that, for calorie-conscious readers, if they made the drink alcohol-free, it would also be calorie-free!
2015 is sure to start out on the right foot with all of the delicious recipes for 7UP and Canada Dry….Cheers!
