Only at IZEA would summer be filled with a game night, PRIDE rainbow party, pie eating contest and a visit from an ice cream truck! We’ve had a blast at IZEA headquarters over the past few months and couldn’t help but share these summer surprises we learned along the way.
- Our IZEAns are incredibly talented! During our June PRIDE event celebrating life and love, we painted canvases for a cause near and dear to our hearts, the OneOrlando fund. We also had a few other colorful surprises, rainbow cupcakes, drinks and the best summer accessory – rainbow glitter tattoos.
- Mixed berry pie is the tastiest version of red, white and blue. For 4th of July we thought there is nothing more American than a good old fashioned pie eating contest. It may be the most delicious IZEA office fun event to date!
- IZEAns will wait in the pouring rain for FREE ice cream. When our fantastic CEO, Ted, sent out a surprise email that an ice cream truck would be coming to our company wide meeting, IZEAUp, the excitement was unstoppable….even by mother nature. Even with the Florida summer rain there were still lots of smiles and ice cream cones!
- Game night can get competitive very quickly! As IZEAns we focus on teamwork and community but when the laptops get put away and Cards Against Humanity begins – nothing is off limits. With a new game in every conference room at IZEA headquarters the night was nothing short of our version of a tri-athalon.
- We are bananas! Well, we may have known this previously but with National Banana Split Day right around the corner we will be going all out!
Luckily, summer is not over yet! To be honest, summer doesn’t end in Florida so neither does the fun. Stay tuned on the blog for more IZEA adventures.
