We’re a mom and dad blogging team from a small town in Iowa who help busy working parents find great deals, tips and ideas for their families.
What originally attracted you to SponsoredTweets and how did you find out about it?
I heard about SponsoredTweets from another blogger. I didn’t realize you could actually make $$$ tweeting. Go figure!
What do you love most about Twitter?
It’s quick, easy and fun.

What do you feel encourages engagement with your audience?
We regularly participate in Twitter parties and hang out on Twitter just to chat. We also abuse hashtags regularly to help our readers find the content in our tweets they might be looking for.
How do you make it easy to stay connected with your followers?
We tweet a lot. Really, a LOT.
Whatʼs your preferred blend of tweets made up of?
RTs, links, original content, etc. We regularly share our posts as well as Instagram photos and posts from some of our blogging buddies that we think our readers will be interested in. The assortment varies daily from deals, giveaways, recipes, tips, entertainment news and more. We also have fun just making chit chat and meeting some amazing people from around the world and our own home town.
Any advice for Tweeters new to SponsoredTweets?
Sometimes it can be tough to find a groove, but don’t give up and don’t be afraid to have fun with it! Just because it’s sponsored doesn’t mean you can’t have a sense of humor.
What do you love about IZEA and SponsoredTweets?
IZEA has given us an easy way to monetize our blog through a combination of sponsored posts via SocialSpark and SponsoredTweets. It is possible to make income blogging, and these two programs were two of the very first ones we used when we started our site a couple years ago.
