Patrick Venetucci is the CEO of IZEA, where he leads the company’s Creator Economy services, technologies and marketplace. With a career spanning over 30 years in the marketing-technology services industry, Patrick is a transformational leader with extensive expertise in scaling businesses profitably. Having joined IZEA’s board in 2018 and stepping into the role of CEO in 2024, Patrick is charged with guiding the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.
Over the last decade, Patrick excelled as a digital entrepreneur. Most recently as the CEO of MERGE, a private equity backed company uniquely positioned between technology consulting and marketing services, Patrick tripled the company. Before that, Patrick was President at Leo Burnett Worldwide, where he spent more than 20 years leading groundbreaking, fully-integrated marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 clients such as Samsung, P&G and others.
Patrick has advised and invested in a number of public and private technology companies in the social, mobile and data spaces. He holds his MBA from the University of Chicago and BA from the University of Iowa.
